SURVEILLANCE STATE UPDATE: Google, EDF, Macron, and the Gilets Jaunes

“Why scurry about looking for the truth?
It vibrates in every thing
and every not-thing,
right off the tip of your nose.
Can you be still and see it in the mountain?
the pine tree?
yourself?
Don’t imagine that you’ll discover it
by accumulating more knowledge.
Knowledge creates doubt, and doubt
makes you ravenous for more knowledge.
You can’t get full eating this way.
The wise person dines on something more subtle:
He eats the understanding that the named was born
from the unnamed,
that all being flows from non- being,
that the describable world emanates
from an indescribable source.
He finds this subtle truth inside his own self,
and becomes completely content.
So who can be still
and watch the chess game of the world?
The foolish are always making impulsive moves,
but the wise know that victory and defeat
are decided by something more subtle.
They see that something perfect exists
before any move is made.
This subtle perfection deteriorates
when artificial actions are taken, so be content
not to disturb the peace.
Remain quiet.
Discover the harmony in your own being.
Embrace it.
If you can do this, you will gain everything,
and the world will become healthy again.
If you can’t, you will be lost in the shadows forever.”

In Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, the drug ‘soma’ offered inhabitants of a
future Earth the means to distract themselves from addressing life’s problems
while supporting the established social and economic order in the promotion of
happiness through hedonic pleasures. Today emissions trading promises a painless
way to avoid human-induced climate change which will leave the growth
economy unaffected in its pursuit of happiness through materialism. The reader
is left to judge illusion from reality and the desirability of the society created.

That said looks like the true believers are getting uppity, Nigel looked a little more ruffled than usual, Dice is an interesting fellow, has a great property business, Sunley Holdings.

me11  In a period of just nine days during February, a US search engine with links to the NSA has been caught conspiring to record Americans secretly, and censoring news about the populist movement Les Gilets Jaunes; while the French energy supplier EDF has been continuing to force an instrument of domestic surveillance into every French home on the direct orders of a President in the tertiary stages of a Napoleon complex.

As Jackie Mason often said, “Now you should worry”.

Yesterday, Google told the media (having been caught in the act of illegal surveillance) that it had made an “error” in not disclosing that its Nest Secure home security system has a built-in microphone in its devices. Consumers could, if they wished, turn the integral mic off, Google insisted.

Except, of course, it’s hard to turn off a mic if you don’t, as it were, know it’s there…

What was the Kalergi Plan?

https://longhairedmusings.wordpress.com/2017/03/12/notes-for-a-poem-or-some-prose-globalisation-a-big-question/

The whole idea goes back even further it’s not called the Charlemagne Prize or Erasmus this and that for nothing.

Wells, Streit and Orwell all wrote about EU Union as if it were written Today.
H.G. WELLS
There is one direction in which Mr Streit’s proposals are open to improvement. Let us turn to another in which he does not seem to have realised all the implications of his proposal. This great Union is to have a union money and a union customs-free economy. What follows upon that? More I think than he realises.
There is one aspect of money to which the majority of those that discuss it seem to be incurably blind. You cannot have a theory of money or any plan about money by itself in the air. Money is not a thing in itself; it is a working part of an economic system. Money varies in its nature with the laws and ideas of property in a community. As a community moves towards collectivism and communism, for example, money simplifies out. Money is a necessary in a communism as it is in any other system, but its function therein is at its simplest. Payment in kind to the worker gives him no freedom of choice among the goods the community produces. Money does. Money becomes the incentive that “works the worker” and nothing more. Ed. NB

Truth is difficult but essential...

I’ve know about this Plan for a while, and that it was a template for the EU. Now understanding more detail, it’s obvious that its aims are now coming true. Merkel just said we need a Europe without borders and mass migration!

It is worth investigating the plan in more detail. Then you will understand today’s situation, and why, what the plan is.

Also, why Brexit is such a disaster for them!

Neofeudalism Isn’t A Flaw Of The System–It’s The System Working Perfectly

It isn’t broke and there is absolutely no intention to fix it, from the perspective of the Oligarchy that is.
The spin machine seems to be mis-firing or is it just Zappers Wall at the back of the theatere?

Truth is difficult but essential...

Neofeudalism is an excellent way of explaining the NWO. It’s a form of Oligarchy. I hope one day soon, someone will pull all the threads together and give the People a full picture of our enemies structure. We live in interesting times.

The Terrifying Paintings by ArtificiaI Intelligence

Truth is difficult but essential...

I’m generally pro AI, it’s a machine and with proper safeguards, a useful tool. But, I was surprised that this art by AI elicited a fairly strong response from me. I know that is supposed to be the point, but I don’t like being deeply disturbed by art. For once, a headline was not overstated!

Returning briefly to last night’s study of purposeful incompetence compensated for by cunning guile, there is an insurance commercial on UK television at the moment. It has a claim in the ad which manages to be both ingenious and disingenuous at the same time:

‘We pay out on 100% of valid claims’

It’s a corker, is it not? Staying strictly with one’s feet on reality here, the claim says that the insurance company is exactly the same as every other insurance company, in the sense that it dismisses claims involving central heating systems allegedly stolen by polar bears. To be fair, the campaign does suggest that the company is better than the UK Department of Work & Pensions, which welches on all claims regardless of validity, humanity, legality and…
